Kidzeum of Health and Science unveiled its latest interactive experience, "The Road to Adventure: Exploring Route 66." In a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 16, 2025, the museum launched a vibrant new space that celebrates the iconic highway, brought to life through a partnership with Ace Sign Co.
Visitors are transported to the golden age of the Mother Road, exploring hands-on stations that trace the Illinois stretch from Chicago to Springfield. Children and adults alike can slide into a booth at a classic 1950s-style diner, catch a show at a mini drive-in theater, or get their hands dirty at the "Tire Shop," working on a kid-sized station wagon.
Ace Sign Co. designed and installed the immersive environmental graphics, from rich infographics to life-size cutouts of famous roadside attractions. These story-driven visuals anchor the exhibit, fulfilling Kidzeum's mission to educate through imaginative play.
