Every sign has a story, but rarely does that story end at the ‘Rose Parade’. It began in the early 1950’s, when William Posegate contacted the owner of Ace Sign Co. at the time, Joe Bringuet, to build a new road sign along the then original Route 66 where his modest motel resided.

The oldest independent grocery store in Springfield selected Ace Sign Co. to restore two panels from a semitrailer that carried historical value to the store. The new sign holds deep sentimental value to the owner as it commemorates her late father. This sign was hand painted by Ace Sign Co.'s skilled painters and was hung on the 4500 sq. ft warehouse.

A beautiful evening for the Thome Fields dedication at Illinois Central College. From logo design through completion, our team created and installed the entry monument, bronze plaques, and dugout signage at the Cougars sports complex. In 2021, the marquee was completely rebuilt from the ground up by Ace Sign Co. of Springfield, IL. The once wood-framed marquees were artfully rebuilt with steel framing and aluminum cladding. The marquee features over 1,500 feet of neon tubing, large flanking 10mm LED Displays, and a one-of-kind round digital/analog clock.

The Fillmore, an iconic and historic venue in the heart of Detroit, Michigan’s Downtown Historic District needed a facelift for their marquee sign. Ace Sign Company was selected by global entertainment giant, Live Nation, to produce the replacement marquee, bringing new life to the 94 year old venue.
Two 10 x 20-ft., 10mm vivid Watchfire Signs LED Displays feature renowned artists and events within a 50-ft.-wide structure adorned with over 500 bulbs. Five foot tall Fillmore letters sit atop the marquee with over 1,000 exposed LEDs, along with a multidimensional lighted logo centerpiece. The display replaces the previously deteriorated marquee; thus honoring its classic style, shape, and logo, with new state-of-the-art technology.
Historical Route 66 Restoration. The Tropic originally opened in 1966. The Tropics closed for good in 2003. Ace Sign Co brought the sign back to life on Sunday June 24th, 2018. The restoration included replacing the original electrical system, rusted panels and as well as a fresh coat of paint.
