Project Scope : Reisch Brewing Company was Springfield, Illinois’ longest operating brewery, founded in 1849. After falling victim to competition from larger corporations, the brewery fell under in 1966.
In the year 2019, a determined group of breweriana collectors collaborated to create Reisch Charities, a non-profit 501 C3 organization whose mission was to revive the classic beverage, Reisch Gold Top Beer, and donate all funds to save, support, and share Springfield history. Their first donation was to the Illinois Fairgrounds Foundation, who in turn renamed the late Food-A-Rama, Reisch Pavilion.
These matching signs feature a classic stylized neon lettering with a custom sprayed finish, adorned with vintage sequins.
