As part of this grass roots effort, the Ace Sign Co. team was engaged to paint a giant Route 66 emblem to kick of the "Slide Down 66" campaign. The slide was dedicated on August 12th, prior to the record breaking attendance at the 2022 Illinois State Fair.

The oldest independent grocery store in Springfield selected Ace Sign Co. to restore two panels from a semitrailer that carried historical value to the store. The new sign holds deep sentimental value to the owner as it commemorates her late father. This sign was hand painted by Ace Sign Co.'s skilled painters and was hung on the 4500 sq. ft warehouse.

Historical Route 66 Restoration. The Tropic originally opened in 1966. The Tropics closed for good in 2003. Ace Sign Co brought the sign back to life on Sunday June 24th, 2018. The restoration included replacing the original electrical system, rusted panels and as well as a fresh coat of paint.
